Child Sexual Exploitation

Child Sexual Exploitation is a priority for the Reading Safeguarding Children Board.  In 2015 the CSE strategy was approved.  This three year strategy sets out our priorities which are to prevent sexual exploitation, protect child and young people from sexual exploitation and pursue the perpetrators of sexual exploitation.

On the right you will find the strategy, CSE toolkit, screening tools and Thames Valley Police Intelligence Form.  The Police Intelligence Form can be completed by professionals to report any suspicions or concerns they have relating to potential sexual exploitation activity.

Early September 2015 the Board appointed a CSE Coordinator provide a dedicated resource to develop and progress of the CSE Action Plan.  If you wish to contact the CSE Coordinator or find out more about becoming one of our CSE Champions the please email: becky.herron@reading.gov.uk.
